Oil plugs: the essential detail
APPLICATIONS: hydraulics, industrial and agricultural machinery, plumbing, tanks, boilers
Despite their small size, oil plugs are among the most important technical items in a large number of industrial and domestic applications.
The oil plugs are used to close tanks or other containers, and if equipped with venting they have the important additional function of keeping the internal pressure regulated within the set parameters.
Small elements, but essential to prevent failures, malfunctions and help improve the level of security of the systems on which they are installed.
Types of oil plugs by material
THERMOPLASTIC oil plugs: resistant (thanks to the fiberglass reinforcement) and economical, they represent the most widespread solution, ideal for many applications; matte sandblasted finish (MAT).
POLYCARBONATE oil plugs: transparent, allow a visual control of the inside of the tank, as well as being more resistant to corrosion.
